Jazz with a Head Bob
The Ways and Means Committee is a “boppish” collective that embraces the new and less familiar stories of the jazz idiom. Influenced by the voices of Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Mulgrew Miller, Kenny Garrett, Jerry Gonzales and Roy Hargrove. The Ways and Means Committee is “most important committee in either house”. We play contemporary tunes with a cohesive, self-styled voice for your aural pleasure.
The Ways and Means Committee is: Ajayi Jackson on percussion, Mark Heshima Williams on bass, Art Khu on keyboards, Michael Bush and David Ferrazares on wind instruments, Gary Bean on brass and wind instruments, Alexey Berlind on drums, and Khalil Abdullah on guitar.
Our music book has over 300 charts so if you want it, we can play it.
